Clinique Passage is a private speech therapy clinic for children, teens, and adults living with speech, language, communication, or hearing difficulties. Our team of qualified speech-language pathologists, with recognized professional credentials and all members of the OOAQ (Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec), welcomes you in person in Val-d’Or, Montreal (the South-West, Petite-Bourgogne area) and Mont-Laurier. Secure telepractice reaches families across Quebec.
No commitment, just a conversation. Discuss your needs with a speech-language pathologist before booking an appointment.
When a child struggles to communicate and does not feel understood, it can be frustrating for the whole family. Tantrums and impulsive behaviours are sometimes the only way a child finds to express their needs.
During our sessions, we work with you to help your child feel more confident in the way they express themselves.
You are not just another file: you are a person with a voice that we are committed to hearing, celebrating, and understanding.
Our clinic adapts its personalized approach to every stage of life. Our specialists work with children, teens, and adults according to each person’s individual needs, drawing on scientific evidence.

Speech Therapy for Children
Children with language, articulation, or communication difficulties benefit from tailored interventions and language stimulation activities. We support those who have pronunciation problems, a limited vocabulary, difficulty understanding or expressing themselves, or a developmental language disorder (DLD). Our play-based approach makes every session engaging, with parent support to extend progress at home.

Speech Therapy for Teens
In adolescence, language challenges affect reading, writing, academic success, and social integration. Our speech-language pathologists offer support that respects teen autonomy, working on the language skills useful to students. We collaborate with schools when relevant.

Speech Therapy for Adults
It is never too late to improve your communication. Our speech-language pathologists support adults according to their individual needs: professional communication, persistent stuttering, or recovery of language abilities.
We can give you advice and tools to help them progress.
Tantrums are ways of communicating
If your child has difficult behaviour, there may be an underlying issue with language development. Here are the main disorders our speech-language pathologists evaluate and treat.
Oral language disorder and developmental language disorder (DLD) affect comprehension, expression, or both. An affected child may struggle to find words, understand instructions, or build complex sentences. Our speech-language pathologists evaluate the language profile and propose an intervention plan to support language development.
Speech disorders include articulation disorder, phonological disorder, speech sound disorder, and apraxia of speech. Each requires a distinct approach, working on phonological awareness and orofacial motor skills as needed.
For people living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), our speech-language pathologists develop tailored strategies to foster expression, comprehension, and social interaction. We value all forms of communication, from words to drawings, including visual supports and alternative communication.
Stuttering and cluttering are a specialty of our founder. Our humanistic approach recognizes the emotional dimension of the disorder, not just its manifestations. We intervene by supporting each person on their journey, and we participate in the specialized programs of the AJBQ (children) and the ABC (adults).
Dyslexia affects reading and decoding, while speech therapy for dysorthographia targets writing and spelling difficulties. These learning disorders require in-depth evaluations and customized compensatory strategies.
Our team also evaluates atypical swallowing (orofacial myofunctional disorder or OMD), hearing difficulties related to language, and global developmental delay. Each situation benefits from a complete speech-language evaluation before intervention.
Our clinic goes beyond traditional exercises and offers thirteen intervention modalities, including a variety of compensatory strategies.
Creative approaches. Speech therapy through the arts, through play, and through nature allows children and adults alike to express themselves in a setting that suits them, opening new doors when classic methods reach their limits.
Therapeutic approaches. We integrate acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and mindfulness into our language work, particularly useful for stuttering and communication anxiety.
Delivery modalities. Sessions take place in person, through secure teletherapy across Quebec, or in institutions, in individual or group format as needed.
Every journey is unique. Talk to a speech-language pathologist to identify the modalities that fit you.

Institutional services.
We offer direct intervention, screening activities, and support for teachers and educators in daycares (CPEs), schools, school service centres, and youth protection services.
Support for First Nations and Inuit.
Our speech-language pathologists offer culturally adapted services to Indigenous communities in Quebec, in their schools, health centres, and urban friendship centres. We support applications through Jordan’s Principle and the Inuit Child First Initiative.
We believe that speech therapy goes beyond exercises and home programs. Speech therapy helps people understand one another, nurturing the need for authentic connection. From words to drawings, every mode of communication is relevant and important.
Our philosophy? It is never too early or too late to help someone who struggles with their communication difficulties. Our mission: To make speech therapy services accessible where they are scarce.
We understand the challenges faced by people in the most remote regions of Quebec, and the challenges of populations experiencing service gaps. Our approach prioritizes what YOU find important and what YOU need.
With us, you are not just another file; you are a person with a voice, and we are here to make sure that voice is heard, celebrated, and understood.

Our founder Anny Dubé, M.Sc., speech-language pathologist and member of the OOAQ (#02668), created the clinic to make speech therapy accessible where it is lacking. Her expertise in stuttering and her humanistic approach guide the team's culture.

We create a bilingual, caring, and inclusive environment where every person feels safe to be fully authentic.

We integrate the arts, nature, and play to offer creative speech therapy that mobilizes full potential.

Services with no waiting list, flexible evening and weekend hours, online or in person.
One conversation can change everything. Our free speech therapy consultation lets you assess your needs with no commitment.
Our team brings together speech-language pathologists who are members of the OOAQ with complementary expertise. All of our services are offered in French and in English.

Our three-step approach is grounded in evidence-based practices.
At the first meeting, we take the time to understand your needs and goals. The speech-language evaluation analyzes how you understand and express yourself, through a personalized approach and adapted tasks.
We analyze the evaluation results, then present targeted recommendations and a game plan for what comes next. You leave with a clear picture of the next steps.
Sessions usually last 50 minutes, adjustable based on age and attention. Evidence-based practices suggest that progress appears after 6 to 12 sessions to make solid gains, but many clients see it with fewer.

We offer accessible speech therapy services across the province, in our three offices or online.
Our teletherapy service uses a secure platform where the speech-language pathologist shares visual material and guides parents. This modality is particularly suitable for:
No commitment, just a conversation. Talk with us about your situation before booking an appointment.
If your child has difficulty with speech sounds, vocabulary, sentence formation, reading, or socialization, an evaluation can identify their needs. Difficult behaviours sometimes signal a language issue. Our free 15-minute consultation is the chance to discuss it.
The speech-language evaluation analyzes how a person understands others and expresses themselves. It includes an interview about history, guided interactions, and tasks related to speech, language, reading, writing, or swallowing. The result is a personalized intervention plan.
The initial session and follow-up sessions generally last 60 minutes. We adapt the duration to your needs: some challenges respond better to short, frequent sessions, others to longer, more spaced-out sessions.
It depends on your situation and the goals of the follow-up. For the first session, a parent’s presence is generally recommended in order to discuss needs and history.
It is possible to leave your child without a parent present, after signing a waiver and according to the measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety. It is also possible to offer parent coaching without the child present, based on the goals set together.
Our rate is $165 per 50-minute session with a speech-language pathologist and $150 per 50-minute session with a supervised language correction agent. Evaluation sessions cost $555 and include 1 hour of data collection with the client, analysis of the data, the delivery of an evaluation report, and an intervention plan. Speech therapy is not taxable in Quebec. See our complete fees for details.
Speech therapy is not covered by RAMQ, but many private insurance plans reimburse part or all of the fees. We use Telus eClaims to facilitate your claims. Some policies require a medical referral.
Yes. For stuttering, we participate in the programs of the AJBQ (children) and the ABC (adults). For First Nations and Inuit families, we support applications through Jordan’s Principle and the Inuit Child First Initiative.
